I wanted to explore different ways to make organic shapes
through model form. These strips can be imagined as if
they are frames repeating as time goes on to create form.
From there I wanted to start designing these "Frames"
so they could become a building with actual spaces.
Once I came up with some sections I then took them
into Rhino and lofted the shapes to create form
I then used this form to create a physical model a bit
simplified from the digital model.
Here are a few images of my original inspiration for time
lapse as well as an updated time lapse for my specific program.
As I continue, I plan on creating more sections and arrange them
similar to the movie reel page above. I want the sections to tell a story
of motion and time. At this point a more suitable form should emerge.
